Flying Dish: Flying Fish Introduces Ghost Kitchen
Flying Fish is taking responsible drinking to a whole new level, with the new Flying Dish ghost kitchen.
Responsible drinking is a concept that most South Africans know about, that some just don’t practice. Eating before sipping is good, as the alcohol finds something in your tummy when it lands, which helps to slow down the alcohol getting to your blood steam. And that’s why . . . it’s important to line your stomach before you drink, because drinking on an empty stomach is just not cool.
So Flying Fish has teamed up with Uber Eats to bring South Africans a one-of-a-kind ghost kitchen. Foodies who live in Joburg can now order exceptional food from the Flying Dish Kitchen via the Uber Eats app.

Having enjoyed a few of the meals myself, I can tell you the food tastes really good . . . and the variety of food on offer is great. The Flying Dish kitchen is run by Chef Neo and her team, and it runs for six days a week, from 12pm to 8pm. The Flying Dish Kitchen does not serve alcohol though, so make sure you have your favourite Flying Fish in the fridge before you put in that order.
Zachary Kingston, Flying Fish’s brand manager, says: “Taking a moment to appreciate a new innovation of world firsts, Flying Fish x Uber Eats is saying: eat now, drink later. This, like many of our campaigns, will truly make you go ‘#WhatTheFlyingFish?’ but you have to #FlowWithIt. After all, you can’t enjoy yourself to the fullest unless you have a full stomach. The goal is to inspire lovers of a cold one to #EatWithIt and always eat when they drink.”
The Flying Dish launched on the 6th of August. . . so what are you waiting for? Order your delicious meal from Uber Eats and enjoy.
