Black Crown Gin & Tonic X Scorpion Kings EXCLUSIVE MUSIC LISTENING SESSION
Last night (17 November 2021) . . . Black Crown Gin and Tonic gave us an exclusive to new music from the Scorpion Kings . A royal affair it was . . . Queens and Kings gathered and got treated to a one of a kind experience.
If you know the Scorpion Kings, then you know that they never disappoint on the decks. And what would a night like this be without great music, fun and drinks? In my opinion, it was all that and more.
Not soo long ago, Black Crown Gin and Tonic celebrated their collaboration with the Dj Maphorisa, Kabza De Small and Spotify . . . And if you haven’t yet, you need to check out the Amapiano mix from this duo which is available on Spotify.
Black Crown’s Marketing Lead Gugu Dlamini had this to say about the collaboration: “Black Crown unapologetically celebrates African pride, and so intends to continue inspiring young Africans to remain authentic and grounded in an absolute belief in self – a royal state of mind. If you have been following Amapiano or music in South Africa . . . You will know that Dj Maphorisa and Kabza De Small are goats in their field. They have achieved a lot of accolades and have garnered a lot of fans in South Africa and beyond.
It’s beautiful to see an unapologetically African gin brand such as Black Crown collaborate with African giants in their field, in a way that pulls a lot of us in, and we are excited to see what the future holds for this amazing brand and what other surprises they have up their sleeve.
Anyway . . . Last night was amazing. Queens and Kings came out looking great, owning their crowns and ready to celebrate great music.
Guests were hosted at the Bowld Restaurant in Sandton and to add to the ambiance and the celebrations, the venue was beautiful styled and decorated to reflect African pride . . . as you can see from these beautiful pics taken by the talented @stephenobi.jpg (Instagram)
